Tehya, the "Picasso Pooch"

Tehya is an 8 1\2 year old female Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.

A question I get asked on a daily basis is "why" did I train my dog to paint?

Well its simple really, I was in search of a more entertaining
and appealing way to demonstrate my dog training techniques.
I wanted to show how you can train any dog of any age or
breed to do just about anything physically possible if only
you know how.

I came up with the idea in the middle of a sleepless night.
The next morning I set about training Tehya. She took to it like
a duck to water, and gets very excited when I bring out her paints
and easel.

If I look back to when she first started to paint and then at her painting now, it is
incredible to see how her technique has developed and changed over time.
Some of the paintings she has created are quite amazing.

Below are some of the paintings exhibited at Tehya's recent Dog Art Exhibition,
which was the first exhibition of it's type in Australia.
